My Friends,

I would like to personally thank every one of you who attended the eighth annual "A Celebration Of Friends" weekend at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Airport Hotel this past June where seven hundred and fifteen of the sexiest men from 17 countries ranging in age from 21 to 89 (with an average age of 57) on the planet had a great weekend together, donating $13,789 to the following two charities: "Gay and Lesbian Community Center of South Florida" ($3,789), and "Tuesday's Angels" ($10,000).

"A Celebration Of Friends, Inc.", a non-profit charitable organization, was created to serve two missions:

#1. To provide a low cost convention for mature men and their admirers.
and #2. To raise funds for local charities in the areas where we meet.

We had our humble beginning at the Hotel St. Pierre in the middle of the French Quarter of New Orleans in June 2002. Over one hundred mature men and their admirers attended from four countries to celebrate and enjoy each other. They donated $1,005 to "Buzzy's Boys", an organization which gives assistance to children with AIDS in New Orleans.

In 2003 we grew to over three hundred men from seven different countries at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Airport Hotel, enjoyed each others company and raised $5,480 for "Tuesday's Angels".

In 2004, four hundred and twenty-two sexy men from nine different countries got together at the Wyndham Fort Lauderdale Airport Hotel and donated $11,000 to "Tuesday's Angels".

In 2005, five hundred and ninety-three mature men and their admirers Celebrated at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. We raised another $10,000 for "Tuesday's Angels". We also became fully FEDERALLY INCORPORATED!

In 2006, six hundred and seventy-seven men had a great weekend together at the Wyndham Fort Lauderdale Airport Hotel and donated $17,200 to "Tuesday's Angels".

In 2007, nine hunderd and thirty three men had a great weekend together at the Sheraton Yankee Trader Hotel and donated $39,915.22 to the following three charities: "Haulover Beaches Foundation" ($2,100), "Gay and Lesbian Community Center of South Florida" ($8,300), and "Tuesday's Angels" ($29,515.22).

In 2008, six hunderd and sixty men had a great weekend together at the Deuville Hotel and donated $16,183 to the following three charities: "Haulover Beaches Foundation" ($809), "Gay and Lesbian Community Center of South Florida" ($3,236), and "Tuesday's Angels" ($12,137.86).

It is very gratifying to assemble in celebration of our friendship and leave the community a better place because of our presence. I am proud to be associated with such a wonderful group on men.
